Austin four-piece French Film release their latest album, Yours + Five.
The band is made up of Ash Keenum (vocals and guitar), Drake Moreno (guitar), Colby Falkner James (bass) and Joshua Harpur (drums). Inspired by Blonde Redhead, Sonic Youth, Autolux and Unwound, French Film blend waves of shoegaze with post-hardcore, creating an atmospheric sound built on churning guitars and tension.
Understated but complex, Yours + Five moves between raw textures, driving rhythms and heavier moments while examining the world around them and looking inward.
